Greg Leonard—Managing Partner
Greg brings 25 years of professional communications experience within the event marketing and public relations sector. He’s created effective strategy and activation for some of North America’s most recognized consumer packaged goods on many of the highest profile stages.
Greg has held significant decision-making roles with Tennis Canada, Phillip Morris USA, Joseph E. Seagram and Sons and Diageo. He takes tremendous pride in developing sustainable programs that have challenged convention within the consumer landscape using sponsorship, cause marketing and public policy engagement to grow value for the respective brands and services he has represented. In other words, he creates programs of value that will get your brand noticed and talked about.
In his spare time Greg tries to convince himself that he can still play hockey while coaching those young enough to think he still can. He resides in Philadelphia with his wife and three children.
Mark Sweeney—Vice President/Strategy
Mark Sweeney is an experienced consumer packaging executive with deep expertise in sales operations, marketing, P&L development, data analysis, compliance and route to market logistics. His key leadership assignments were based in the spirits and wine categories for North American Spirits and Wine Brokerage (NASWB), Diageo and Seagram. Accomplishments in these roles stressed building, developing and sustaining best practice direct sales operations that could be modeled and replicated in varied market channels across the US. At NASWB in Pennsylvania, he led the transition from Supplier Direct sales to their current, efficient and successful Distributor/Broker model.
Prior to NASWB, Mark led direct sales operations for Seagram in Ohio and Diageo in Pennsylvania for their world-renowned spirits and wine portfolios. Rounding out his in-market leadership, Mark served as the Commercial Marketing Manager for Seagram and Absolut Vodka across 18 Government Control States. His successful accomplishments here were to navigate national brand plans through complex regulatory environment while maintaining the highest standards of compliance without compromising brand imagery.
Away from building brands and great dynamic sales and marketing programs, Mark is an avid college sports fan spanning the United States.
Will Bennett—Vice President/Operations and Experiential Marketing
Will Bennett successfully designs, executes and provides analysis for multi-faceted strategic marketing projects across a variety of consumer products. His expertise lies in the execution of large scale experiential and consumer engagement programs. He has worked with brands such as Lipton, Dannon, General Motors, Diageo and Philip Morris USA. You want to mount a big splashy event? Will is the guy that gets it up off the ground and running. A graduate of Florida State University with a degree in Economics, Will was active in Phi Delta Theta and the FSU Rugby club. In his spare time, Will is active in his local mountain biking club, and enjoys web design and carpentry.
Laura Fredrick—Manager, Public Relations
Laura graduated Summa Cum Laude from Rowan University with a degree in broadcast journalism. She possesses a wide range of skills and expertise across the communications field, including broadcast journalism, public relations, marketing, and social networking.
Previously, Laura was at NBC 40 WMGM-TV, an NBC Philadelphia affiliate news station, as health producer for the health segment within the daily newscast. As Manager of Public Relations for GuRoux Marketing Group, Laura has tremendous client results in media relations, event planning, and social media exceeding all key performance indicators as mutually established by agency and client.
When she is not working, Laura enjoys commercial modeling and acting, and has appeared in a music video for Grammy Award winning band "Fun.,", a national "Rita's Water Ice" TV commercial, and "The Meredith Vieira Show”.
Katie Hennicke—Creative Director
Katie is an award-winning, Madison Avenue-trained copywriter who has written for some of the biggest names in packaged goods, telecommunications, pharmaceuticals and personal finance – General Mills, Nabisco, Colgate Palmolive, AT&T, GlaxoSmithKline, Kimberly Clark and H&R Block. Most recently she was an Associate Creative Director at Masterminds Philadelphia creating campaigns for clients in the travel and leisure and gaming industries.
In addition to being our Creative GuRoux, she is an adjunct professor at Temple University in the School of Media and Communication teaching advertising to little baby copywriters.
